Emily-May Richards is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of TSG. Ms. Richards directs all operating, financial, accounting, administrative, and reporting functions of TSG. Ms. Richards is directly involved in all aspects of underwriting TSG's investment activities on behalf of its sponsored funds, including negotiating contracts, obtaining interim and long-term financing and structuring joint ventures. Ms. Richards is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with an extensive background in finance. Previously she served as Corporate Controller at KSL Recreation Corporation in La Quinta, California, where she was responsible for the overall accounting, tax, and internal and external financial reporting for their combined holdings of over $1.5 billion of resort properties and real estate. Ms. Richards also served as CEO of her own company, The Richards Group, P.C., a CPA firm providing accounting, tax and management advisory services, and was the majority principal in Flint, Inc., a contractor for the RTC. Prior to forming her own company, Ms. Richards worked for The First National Bank of Atlanta as a Vice President where she was involved with the repositioning and disposition of a multi-million dollar portfolio of distressed properties. Later she was named Vice President and Treasurer of First Atlanta Mortgage Corporation, where she directed the acquisition and servicing of a $1 billion loan portfolio. Ms. Richards received a Bachelor of Science degree with high honors from the University of Delaware and a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
