W. Michael Shoptaw, LEED AP

W. Michael Shoptaw, LEED AP is a Vice President and Associate Broker of TSG. Mr. Shoptaw manages TSG’s Madison branch and is involved in sourcing investment opportunities, conducting property due diligence and preparing financial projections for TSG. During the spring of 2009 Mr. Shoptaw earned accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Accredited Professional (LEED-AP). Mr. Shoptaw earned his Georgia Real Estate Brokers License in 2006, and is currently pursuing CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. Previously, Mr. Shoptaw was employed by Color Tile of Georgia located in Calhoun, GA as the General Manager, where he was responsible for the management and operation of the 30,000 square foot retail flooring store. Mr. Shoptaw received a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Program Management from Georgia College and State University where he majored in Outdoor Education.
