Walt B. Plyler
Walt B. Plyler is a Vice President of TSG. Mr. Plyler is responsible for raising equity and handling investor relations, sourcing investment opportunities, underwriting and arranging property financing, and monitoring all non-apartment ventures. Previously, Mr. Plyler served as a Vice President for Countrywide Commercial Real Estate Finance, Inc. in Calabasas, CA and Atlanta, GA. At Countrywide, Mr. Plyler was involved in the originating, underwriting, closing, and securitization of over $2 billion in commercial real estate mortgages on multiple commercial property types. Mr. Plyler has experience in property due diligence, cash flow underwriting, mortgage origination, commercial lease administration, project management, financial forecasting, and financial reporting. Prior to Countrywide, Mr. Plyler was an Analyst with Coastal Capital Real Estate Advisors, Inc. in Sausalito, CA. Mr. Plyler also served as an Experienced Associate in the real estate group of the Assurance & Business Advisory Practice of Arthur Andersen, LLP. Mr. Plyler received a Bachelor of Science with Special Attainments in Commerce from Washington and Lee University where he majored in Business Administration and Accounting.
